On May 31st 2019, Disneyland Resort officially opened their biggest single land expansion ever, Star Wars : Galaxy's Edge! The land is one of the most immersive lands in any theme park within the world.
This brand new area features the totally immersive Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run. This brand new interactive experience gives 6 guests, 6 positions within a Millennium Falcon, as you work together in a team to control this amazing Star Wars ship.
The queue line has been described by guests as being one of the most immersive queue line experiences ever in any theme park. Disney have completely immersed guests into a Star Wars environment with the whole land being heavily themed to make guests feel like that they are not at Disneyland Resort and are on the planet of Batuu.

Although the land only has one ride at the moment, there is a whole host of other experiences on offer on the planet of Batuu. Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo offers guests a wide range of food, with Smoked Kaadu Ribs or you can try the Fried Endorian Tip-yip. There is not only food on offer as well as the rides. Guests have the opportunity to build their very own droid in the Droid Depot, or stop by Savi's Workshop and build your very own lightsaber!
A wide range of entertainment is also on offer in the land. Your favourite Star Wars characters can be seen walking around the planet of Batuu daily. In addition, there is also daily shows with Kilo Ren and storm troopers.
This land is a MUST-DO when visiting Disneyland Resort and will be once the land opens in Walt Disney World on August 29th 2019.
PLEASE NOTE - Reservations are required to enter Star Wars : Galaxy's Edge until June 24th. After this date, guests can experience the land without a reservation.
